Ted TURNER to Join FONDA on the Protest Bus
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 07:52 PM by UTUSN
This from wingnut gossip queen oldest-person-named-"Cindy". She pals around with both sides of the cocktail circuit, the Patakis AND the Cuomos, and often has real news. Here, she lambastes FONDA, but reveals that Oldest-person-named-"Cindy" is ALSO against the Iraq Attack. And the news that Ted TURNER is going to be on the bus.

http://www.nypost.com/gossip/cindy.htm

August 9, 2005 -- THIS newspaper reported Ted Turn er's imminent final exit from Time Warner as: "Ted set to walk into the sunset." Kiddies, let mother tell you where Ted is set to walk.

The guy has 14 ranches in seven states plus Argentina, owns the largest private herd of bison, pledged the U.N. $1 billion, lost a few bucks short of $8 billion in that CNN/AOL misery but still has a few bil left. And he's about to get on a bus.

I've already spouted about multiple divorcée Jane Fonda, who was born with a silver hoof in her mouth, becoming spokespig for our country again. And that her main career being to badmouth the U.S.A., the money Hanoi Jane made in this God-blessed country she'll now spend on a nationwide bus tour so that she can oink against us again. And that it's not enough to betray American POWs during Vietnam's blood-filled days, so she's now poised to take a cross-country anti-Iraq bus tour.

Hostile mail — some beginning "Dear Idiot" — arrived asking doesn't the First Amendment protect her right to say what she wants just as it protects mine. Please. It's insanity to suggest I'm anti-freedom-of-speech. I'm just anti-Jane-Fonda. I, too, am against the war in Iraq, but that's irrelevant. What I fulminated and foamed against, pure and simple, is that this political ingrate harmed our nation and apologized on TV just long enough to sell her book — and she's back at it once more.

And along on this ride will be her son, Troy, which I've already reported and — which has not yet been reported — the newly unemployed Ted Turner.

1.  the newly unemployed Ted Turner????
Where in the world are these people from????

I say this because my Ex-DIL works for one of Ted's many companies and he's very much involved with it's operation!

No wonder they can't get the damn unemployment figures right! They don't even know what the word means!!!!

5. Heh. I have
heard some rumors down here that Ted is mounting an effort to retake control of CNN. Wouldn't that be ironic?

6. what is it with republicans and name calling. i have never seen
anything like this. i am having so much trouble with kids that call names. all the time, all over the place. and here we have a whole party that resorts to the most childish name calling i have ever seen. talking to a republican inevitably resorts to them calling people names.

a bumpersticker on a car yesterday. dont be a girlie man, vote republican. i asked my ten year old boy how he felt about reading that bumpersticker, he was mad. i suggested in all his intellectual, academic insight, he should write a ltte for all amarillo to read, that it is rude to call someone a girlie man because of the way they vote

my boys dont name call. not ever. i dont either. correlation. i think so.

for the republican party to tell me they are family value as they resort to calling all that arent them, silly names, and seeing children all over the place resort to calling names, i would say, that is indicitive of the republican parenting skills. and maybe they ought not lecture me so on family value. maybe i ought to be talking to them about responsible parenting.

8. "Hey there" Seabeyond...
I think that all of that oppressive moral rectitude starts to seep out around the edges sometimes - kind of like trying to suppress a fart.

I think that they are so ashamed of their basic human nature and fallibility that they turn to Mega-churches and legislating our lives in order to deal with their own embarrassing urges.

But then they get caught divorcing their wives who have cancer while they are having some action on the side...and suddenly they have an epiphany and become Hillary's best buddy.

Maybe they haven't explored the whole spectrum of Christianity fully enough...they just might be possessed. Think we could exorcise the demons out of the insane RW'ers? Probably not, the Catholic church is having as much trouble recruiting as our armed forces are right now.

11. if they are being told what sinners they are in a consistant
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 09:23 PM by seabeyond
manner, then sinners they have to become. good points. my kids went to a christian school for 6 years. over time and getting to know the families, i was surprised how many second and third marriages there were in this school and how many screwed up families there were in this school as they continually judged people in terms of good christians. i pulled the boys out of the boyscout troop of the school cause,...... i was just to uncomfortable especially after a particular meeting. i walked out saying eeeewwww. wasnt long after i pulled them out of the school and put them in public.

but, i learned a lot in that school. a lot

12. Yup...
whatever they decry against the loudest is exactly what they are into. It's not us that make them crazy, it's their own selves that they cannot live with. Notice how many people that are born-again are former addicts of whatever as in "*"? They are just substituting with a new addiction...

I was raised Catholic and when I did my "first confession" at age seven, I had to think up some stuff to confess. Since I was told that I was a born sinner, I made up some stuff, and then confessed to lying. Honestly, what does a seven-year-old have to "confess"?
