Andy was attacked by amateurs. They continue to throw stones at his grave. They were online Lee Atwater/Karl Rove wannabes. Few of those people will never rise above the level of political street thug.

Do you want to see the masters at work? Take a look at what's about to happen to Cindy Sheehan. Or what has happened to Joe and Valerie Wilson. Or what they did to John Kerry's service record while they were making the Frat Boy look like the real war hero.

Cindy Sheehan and the Wilson are up against the White House and GOP attack machine. These guys are the pros. They're too smart to smear a dead or dying man. They'll leave that to minions on FreeRepublic along with skewing online polls and rating down embarrassing news stories. The pros don't worry about Andy Stephenson; he'll never stop them from stealing another vote again.

But the Wilsons? Cindy Sheehan? Now, they're still living and still have a story to tell. They have to make damn sure no one wants to listen to it. And they do that by making it look like they're no one you want to have them over for dinner.

When these guys are through, some people are going to think Cindy Sheehan planted the bomb that killed her son. They have no respect for anybody or anything; they have no shame.

We have got to be ready to fight back. I've had enough. I want them put away where they'll never be able to ruin the reputation of good, innocent people again.

yes, their goal is to tear down ANYONE who dares to stick their neck out and become associated with a cause that works against the ruthless RW agenda. They know very well that any organization needs leaders to rally around and they will seek and destroy any who appear as quickly as possible. Not only undermines the organization, but also helps to limit the numbers who are willing to speak out.

They will try to smear Cindy with everything they've got. We must support her with everything we've got. She is dangerous because she is able to channel the rage about the unjustifiable death of her son into action against the war and against the practices of this govt. She could have chosen to suffer in silence, like so many of us do, and just try to 'move on' (whatever that is in the face of this kind of abuse of power). But Cindy has chosen to stand out of the crowd and fight for what she knows is right. She is drawing a line in the sand in Crawford. That line is symbolic of the many transgressions perpetrated by this government on its hapless citizens. Cindy is speaking for millions, I believe, and she speaks from the heart.
