What percentage of the profits from "Support Our Troops" magnets |
|
actually go to supporting the troops? Can we get a number figure?
Those things must sell by the millions; it would warm my heart to know that the bulk of the profits from their sales are going to our troops.

1. I have only seen one sign in one store that said any of the profits |
|
were actually going to the troops. I always question the people behind the counter and they just shrug.

3. Probably "a portion of the profits," |
|
which could theoretically mean anything from 0.01% to 99.99%.
"Portion" is a tricky word. A cockroach eats a crumb that fell from a birthday cake. The cockroach got a portion. He didn't get as much as the birthday boy or the birthday girl but he got a portion.
