FRAME: Bush brave with troops lives, coward facing unarmed critics
Cindy isn't the first critic he's avoided.

He doesn't take questions from Helen Thomas, the reporter other presidents showed their cajones by calling on first.

He has had fewer press conferences than any modern president, and prides himself on limiting follow ups, and having reporters who sneak in a tough question punished.

His public appearances are ONLY before hand-picked audiences of supporters who ask scripted questions.

Even Ronald Reagan wasn't afraid to show up at a memorial service for the Marines killed in Lebanon.

Let's face it, Bush is a fucking coward. He has had family friends and servants to run interference for him his whole life, and has never had to answer for his actions without a phalanx of PR flaks and bodyguards.

We can only assume that if he did, he would wet his pants and be rhetorical and literally bitch-slapped. Brave men have been president before. Bush is not one of them.

1. he's a puppet, he can only be deployed in controlled situations
He can't hold his own against serious questioning. His public appearances have to be orchestrated and packed with paid shills.

2. What we don't see is graphic
The image we can form of Bush hiding from a grieving mother is a powerful phenomenon. His invisibility now says more than all the staged photo ops of his presidency. He has let this become a lose-lose situation for him. It will come to head on Thursday when he runs out of liquor and Condi comes to wipe his snotty nose.

3. I can see him raging, kicking furniture, and throwing a tantrum.
He is probably yelling and swearing at all his people, telling them to DO something about that woman.

If he isn't drinking and drugging yet, he is hollering for Laura and Condi.

I named my youngest child Laura. I have always thought it was a beautiful name. I will not let these freaks ruin it for me.

5. Why be brave when Karl can destroy them or their families?
All it takes is a call to Karl. . .he'll take care of it.
