Daily Show Audience Smarter, Richer Than O'Reilly's Audience
Old news, but worth rehashing:

From 9/29/04

"Comedy Central used its viewers' test scores Tuesday to strike back at Fox News Channel and O'Reilly's viewers.

It also trotted out stats from Nielsen Media Research to show that Stewart's viewers are not only smart, but more educated than O'Reilly's.

"Daily Show" viewers are 78 percent more likely than the average adult to have four or more years of college education, while O'Reilly's audience is only 24 percent more likely to have that much schooling.

Plus, the network noted, "Daily Show" viewers are 26 percent more likely to have a household income more than $100,000, while O'Reilly's audience is only 11 percent more likely to make that much money."

2. Not really surprising if you ask me.
I bet those people believe O'reilly is truly speaking for the "ordinary folks" interests. I just love the way he pretends he lead a hard life and that he's tough just to get street cred. The only thing he's really about is arrogantly pushing his narrow minded opinion (for example, trying to say he knows more about how torture effects people than John McCain does.)

And, of course, if he's losing a debate he nearly explodes into a ball of fire and spouts of such charming quips as, "SHUT UP!" or "CUT HIS MIC!" Typical Rethug.

4. One has to have an IQ above a turnip to comprehend the Daily Show
-- no insult to turnips intended.

(I haven't watched TV for over 3 years -- expect for when traveling through Nebraska in May and all guests at the motel were asked to keep their TVs on for tornado updates.)

And I just happened to turn on the TV to the Daily Show -- and then I understood what all the DU fuss was about. But dummies like Freepers probably can't understand his humor.
