Why is Richard Mellon Scaife not in prison?
I know practically nothing about him...couldn't even pick him out in a line-up. but anyone who is behind so many slime campaigns, some that have cost the taxpayer millions of dollars, something illegal has to have taken place. Why the hell is he not in leg irons, let alone free to continue his shit.

If your answer is free speech, save it. Free speech in the service of a criminal enterprise should not be protected. I would argue that Scaife runs a criminal enterprise. The question is why is he not scrutinized?

2. You may argue this...
... as you wish, but, as with all things criminal, what's the proof? In fact, do you even have a specific charge?

Unfortunately, those are required. :)

Cheers.

3. This isn't Cuba
If this country used the same standards that Cuba used for political dissidents, many DUers would be in jail.

Do you have any idea of any potential crimes that Scaife may have committed, other than opposing Democrats?

5. Nope. I'm also not a fan of throwing people in jail for speaking out
against the government. Apperently some DUers are.

7. There was that freelance journalist who was "suicided" at Scaife's office.
That sounds a tad suspicious.

10. Funny how Allegheny County's Coroner, who is a very partisan Democrat,
ruled that it was a suicide.

12. Since you believe the Coroner...
This is the same guy.

"Wecht recieved his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and his J.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. In 1978 he testified before the House Select Committee on Assassinations to the effect that John F. Kennedy was not shot by a single gunman, rejecting the assertions of the Warren Commission. He has debated with Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Spector, who was chief counsel of the Warren Commission, on the matter."

14. Just saying. This guy is all over the place.
Wecht has also said that Ron Brown was murdered, that was definitely a Scaife line.

9. More uncalled for Cuba bashing
Which latin America country would you rather live in? Besides maybe Costa Rica they all seem rather unimpressive to what Cuba has done.

Do you hate just Castro or their entire form of government? Despite outlasting seven U.S. administrations Castro will not live forever. Hopefully the hateful rhetoric against him dies with him.

11. I dislike how the Cuban government restricts the freedom of its people
Which Latin American country would I like to live in? None. I wouldn't trade my American citizenship.

There is a funny thing about all of the people who talk so highly of Cuba. Every year thousands of Cubans risk their lives on barely sea-worthy boats to come to the United States. How many Americans risk their lives to immigrate to Cuba?

6. google Scaife and Kangas and you'll find another reason...
for a serious investigation that was never done.
Be sure to read 'Origins of the Overclass' while you are at it, and you'll see what an interesting mind was wasted and labelled as a nameless 'vagrant' in Scaife's own newspaper.
