I really think thousands will converge on Crawford this weekend.

2. Thanks . . .
This could very well be a defining moment in many lives, such as Woodstock was when it happened.

Except this will be a gathering for peace, and a demand for answers.

3. Wouldn't that be great?
but when I suggested to my wife that we pack up the kids and go there instead of the beach for a week she looked at me like I was from another planet.

Find some Virginians on the board to carpool with, and head out! :D

It's our Democracy we're talking about here. If I was her, I'd understand. It's a moral imperative if you can make it and are healthy enough.

4. I've had that feeling for 2 days now....
It's what we have been hoping for a single focal point to harness all of this energy we have all had for so long...

There are so many things in history where one voice, one protest changed into a turning point.

Please, please please let this be one of those!!!!

5. She is redeeming the utter meaninglessness of her son's death.
A truly great Mother.

8. Yes, she's doing this for her son.
I personally believe she's doing this for him, and for all the other young men in this country who might meet with the same fate.

I would, also.

7. wouldn't that be awesome?
and then, I hope they all show up again at the Peace Demonstration on Sept. 24th in Washington. Cindy will be riding the "Peace Train" with us to the capitol.

9. I really, really hope that this is what happens...
I hope Camp Casey becomes another Woodstock.

This is about Peace and Accountability.

The best way to support Cindy--is to be there if you can. High numbers in Crawford will send a statement that won't be ignored. A large, peaceful demonstration in Crawford could change the world.

Many in this country are against *. Many are at a tipping point. A large, visible, productive demonstration in Crawford could be the event that tips this country totally against this war and against *.

Many feel in their gut that BushCo is a lying, treacherous band of criminals and thugs. However, they feel alone in their thinking. A massive demonstration could help people to feel not so alone. When that happens, more people speak out, less people are afraid--and that's when these thugs will receive their "just desserts".

History can be made in Crawford. As another poster said--if you are able--it is a moral imperative to be there.
