6. Are these numbers on pace to exceed Vietnam?
It seems to me that this is the death toll we saw many years after the Vietnam 'conflict' began. If this pace continues, we will reach the number of weekly Vietnam deaths very quickly.

8. I'm not familiar with the stats from Viet Nam and how they
compare. I do recall the nightly news coverage - the actual coverage of battles and the death and brutality. I was a child and the images of body bags and the maimed and the wounded did not distort my thinking, they engrained in me the belief that war is wrong, is immoral and we should do everything in our power to not go to war.

Because the images are not a part of our daily lives now, the weed-n-chief can vacation while our fellow citizens are dying and folks don't seem to care.

We need to keep trying to make them care.

9. Commanders in Iraq determine the amount of US. troops killed
they've said that the more patrols go out the more US.troops will die, so they've resorted to assiging 1 US.troop leader to 6-15 Iraqi soldiers which is why we here that; "5-10 iraqi soldiers were killed today and one US. Marine was also killed.

11. And the marine is assigned to patrol with poorly trained
soldiers? My God, they don't care about the troops at all.
