to your angry letter. i understand why you're pissed-i'm with you 100% on it. but if you want a constructive response from him, you might have to bite the bullet and write a polite, but firm, email

but I wasn't merely blowing off steam. I thought he should know that many of us no longer give a rat's ass about the runaway bride, especially when there is a much larger news story that doesn't even get a mention.

And I don't necessarily think that his response was rude, just rather abrupt. I know from reading the posts last night that he got quite a few other emails on the subject and maybe he was a bit surprised at the interest.
