1. Haven't heard anything WillyT,
But I don't think they'd be THAT stupid.....wait a minute.....how SILLY of me! These are the bushies!. LOL!.

Seriously, though, I don't think they'd want the MSM showing the SS hauling off a Gold Star mother....I think they've just gotten the media to ignore the story for the most part, thinking if it's ignored, it will go away.

7. No Lerkfish. Sorry to say I don't remember.
But I'm old and senile. ;-)

I think this would capture the media though, seeing as how she's been camped out in Crawford for so long. She only wants to talk to him--no national security threat at all. People will say how can the president arrest someone who just wants to talk? They'll think he's even more arrogant than they do now.

9. sorry I don't remember more details, it was about the time I first got
here, and there were threads with video posted here.

She came to a bush rally and was ejected, then outside, while talking to reporters she was handcuffed and arrested.
She had a tshirt on (I think) with a picture of her deceased son and something anti-war.

I will try to search for it.

INDIVIDUALS THREATENED, THROWN OUT OF BUSH EVENTS

Grieving Gold Star Mom Was Handcuffed At Laura Bush Event

A Gold Star Mom Woman, Who Lost Her Son In Iraq, Is Forcibly Removed From Bush-Cheney Event. Sue Niederer of Hopewell, NJ, a gold star mother, was handcufed and arrested for speaking out about the war in Iraq at a campaign event with Laura Bush. Niederer wore a t-shirt with the worlds “President Bush You Killed My Son” and brought a framed picture of him with her to the event. She interrupted Bush’s speech, demanding to know why her son, 24-year old Army First Lt. Seth Dvorin, had to die because of Bush’s misguided policy in Iraq. Secret service and local police handcuffed Niederer and detained her in the back of a police van. Laura Bush continued to speak, making many references to the September 11th attacks. “Too many people here had a loved one that went to work in New York that day," Bush said. "It's for our country, it's for our children, our grandchildren that we do the hard work of confronting terror."

Sue Niederer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Sue Sapir-Niederer is a American political activist.
Niederer's son was First Lieutenant Seth Dvorin, a 24-year-old U.S. Army soldier in the 10th Mountain Division. Dvorin was killed on 3 February 2004 during the occupation of Iraq. Dvorin, who had just returned to Iraq after spending two weeks with his family, was killed after locating an Improvised Explosive Device. Since Dvorin's death, Niederer has campaigned against the reelection of George W. Bush and continued American military presence in Iraq. Niederer came to national prominence after she was arrested for disrupting a speech by First Lady Laura Bush in September 2004. Later criminal charges of "defiant trespass" against Niederer were dropped.
Niederer lives in Pennington, New Jersey (some sources say Hopewell). She entered a Bush-Cheney rally of about 700 at a firehouse in Hamilton on September 16, 2004. Niederer had a ticket to the rally, as required, and was wearing a T-shirt which read "President Bush You Killed My Son," with a picture of her son. During the Bush's speech, Niederer shouted "Why did my son have to die?" and "When are yours going to serve?" (a reference to Bush's children).
Bush supporters began a loud chant of "Four more years," quickly drowning Niederer out. Reports indicated that such a response to disruption was planned; one campaign volunteers was quoted as saying, "If anybody acts up, I just start chanting, 'Four more years!'" Some Bush supporters directly confronted Niederer, including one audience member who yelled, "Your son chose to fight in that war."
Niederer was forcibly removed from a by local police and Secret Service, who handcuffed her and placed her in the back of a police van.
Mercer County Prosecutor Joseph L. Bocchini Jr. issued a statement Friday defending the police for stopping Niederer from heckling the First Lady, but some free speech advocates felt the charge was unwarranted.
"It is our determination that the police officers had more than enough probable cause to arrest Ms. Sapir-Niederer and were justified in the their actions," said Bocchini. "Taking all factors into consideration, including the recent loss of her son while serving in the armed forces in Iraq, I believe that the continued prosecution of the this matter would serve no useful purpose." <1>

CBS/AP) A woman wearing a T-shirt with the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of a soldier killed in Iraq was detained Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by first lady Laura Bush.

Police escorted Sue Niederer of Hopewell, N.J., from a rally at a firehouse after she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb.

As shouts of "Four More Years" subsided, Niederer, standing in the middle of a crowd of some 700, continued to shout about the killing of her son.

When Bush mentioned the troops abroad, Niederer shouted, "When are yours going to serve?" referring to Bush's 22-year-old twin daughters, who aren't in the armed services.

(oh, brain fart, can't remember his name, the old guy who was on Nixon's enemies list who comments for NPR) that was mainly about Cindy and her vigil.

6. It would be very easy for them to do.
The protest site is isolated and although there is press and cameras aplenty there, there are not that many people. They could have everyone scooped up and hauled away pretty quickly.

8. NBC is blacked out, MSNBC (Olberman) had nothing but fluff.
MSM is pretty silent. An arrest would force more msm coverage which they desparately would like to avoid. T. Rove (traitorove) is spinning wildly to figure out his next move.

I don't think a decision has been made, but perhaps Condi and Rumsfeld will arrive by helicopter instead of car. Wouldn't want them to see real people after all.
