Isn't that just the height of it? Mike Malloy is now talking about it on his program. This deal is like another W rally.

Edited on Wed Aug-10-05 10:32 PM by Solly Mack
for the freedom walk on sept 11...or are you talking about something else?

.mil just means a site is a registered military site..and in no way means a military mailing list.

and this link is the actual form:

https://www.penfed.org/freedomwalk/register.asp

However, you can link to the first link(in subject line) from

http://www.defenselink.mil/

17. Oh, how cute.
You have to register for this "freedom" march. Then they can screen you, and if you don't pass the "sniff" test, meaning (probably) if you are a registered Democrat, or belong to an anti-war organization or (heaven forbid) a terrorist group like Greenpeace or Gold Star Mothers for Peace or any other such rabble, you don't get a registration number.

In other words, it will be a hand-picked crowd, just like the ones that attend all the other Bush events. So much for freedom...

9. Don't know why.......wouldn't attend
though I would guess that they are screening people...sounds about right for this regime.

18. What if we all register? What if hundreds of us from DU sign up to march?
Would they refuse all of us? Just a select few after reading our email history and checking out our on line history? The registration form asks for an email address so I figure that's how they can trace us. But if hundreds of people who register are denied access to the march, I would thing that would be an interesting story for the media. "Hundreds denied marching to freedom rights"...

20. "Disruptors Denied Permits"
...or something like that.

I was thinking, an enterprising recruiter could shatter his quota if he mounted the stage and did a rip-roaring Come to Jesus style pitch. Shame some of those fuckers into signing up. Or at least make hundreds of thousands stare at their feet, looking real stupid.

11. And why is the 9/11 commemorative walk in DC?
If memory serves, the major hit on September 11 happened in New York City. I guess Chimpy doesn't want to take a chance appearing on the streets of New York. Heaven knows he didn't venture out of his bubble during the Republican convention last year.

15. No shit.. does the administration not see the irony of it?
I guess you have to be able to think creatively to understand irony. This administration has not an ounce of creativity among them. All they know how to do is destroy... :toast::smoke:
