Talking about Sweet Neocon and they even put up a graphic of the lyrics (excuse me if I don't get them right):

You call yourself a Christian
I call you a hypocrite
You call yourself a patriot
I call you a piece of (expletive deleted)

1. CNN did the same thing
Two verses of the song, in fact! The talking heads' only commentary afterwards was the obligatory jokes about Keith Richards mumbling, but otherwise, offered nothing of substance.

(my newest sticker...)

2. At first I was disappointed that Mick said his song wasn't aimed at Bush

in particular.

He seemed to be kind of copping out on that aspect of it. But after thinking about it, it's probably just as well that his lyrics apply to ALL neocon hypocrites, including Bush.

Regardless of the intended overtones, this song could be the start of something big. Lyrics like this have been LONG overdue.

THANK YOU, MICK!!

4. Ok, how many of the stations that boycotted the Dixie Chicks,
play the Stones? I don't think that this will affect them in the least.

5. Well, obviously, none. But, Clear Channel does own rock stations, eh?
