U.S. Colonel Accused Of Trashing Cars With Pro-Bush Stickers
DENVER -- An Air Force Reserve colonel may face criminal charges in a vandalism case.

The officer, Alexis Fecteau, is accused of defacing cars at the Denver International Airport.

He allegedly blacked out pro-Bush bumper stickers on 10 vehicles, then spray painted an expletive and the president's name on the vehicle.

2. While we can never condone this
it needs to be asked how the policies of the Bush Administration are pushing some people too far.

6. Bush Admin: eviscerating the Navy and Air Force.
A lot of folks in those services are really angry about it.

And the "blue to green" program where they're trying to force navy and air force personnel to switch to the army to serve the years until retirement is a total bust.

It's interesting listening to my friends in the sub force who voted for Bush talk now. He wants to go down to 35 attack submarines. Fiftenn on the East Coast and twenty on the west coast.

8. I wouldn't have done this
But the fact that an Air Force Colonel is so fed up with the Administration and how they have mishandled the Department of Defense tells me that this person had some courage to do this and perhaps has the Howard Beal zeal.

I would have used the word "balls" if it had been a woman too, though.

11. But you don't need "balls" to have moral fortitude.
This expression is horribly sexist whether used in reference to men or women.

If you're talking about weight-lifting capacity, go ahead and use the term, because owning a set helps in that case.

4. I read this headline wrong
I've seen it a couple of times now, and keep seeing it as the Colonel has been trashing cars by putting Pro-Bush stickers *on* them. See what I mean? "Trashing cars WITH Pro-Bush stickers".

5. The Pro-Bush, pro-war supporters whose cars were vandalized should

immediately drop charges against this colonel. If they really support the troops, then they should see this act as a stress-reliever for this soldier.

7. I think he should use the insanity defense.
Seeing Bush bumperstickers certainly makes me crazy.

9. It's definitely a "man bites dog" story......
I'm sure active duty and veteran military have defaced many pro-Kerry/Edwards cars. That's not newsworthy.

And a COLONEL ! I'd like to hear the rest of his story :patriot:

10. Time for another medal of freedom award.
Imagine, this isn't just a grunt or some rowdy activist civilian. This is a f***ing Colonel in the US Air Force. If this guy feels like this you have to wonder if Bush can go on much longer using the troops as props for his speeches.
