16. IAH is Continental's big hub. You must be doing a prop to Waco?
On a Continental Connection partner, probably out of terminal A...

I'm there all the time, but I fly out of all terminals so they all start running together. C is definitely the busiest, so at least you aren't going out of there.

Have a safe trip!

15. It's almost 5 hours from Houston to Waco
He would be there even with the layover faster than driving.

21. That's why they call it "Texas-sized"
I drove from Dallas to Los Angeles (one way!!)

It seemed like getting to El Paso was damn-near the whole 22 hour drive!!

26. I had a friend from Houston stationed in the Navy in San Diego...
When he drove home on leave, he would take two days: Day 1 from San Diego to El Paso, then Day 2 from El Paso to Houston (that means one day to drive across California, Arizona, and New Mexico, and another day to drive across Texas).

Quite a drive...

22. Ain't that the truth?
I live on the Texas/Arkansas/Oklahoma border, and when I drive to Phoenix during the holidays, I drive 12 hours the first day and still am not out of Texas, lol.
Takes me about 8 hours to drive through New Mexico and half of Arizona, lol.

single day! Wow! How cool! I was amazed and my family thought I was a laugh riot. Driving 30 min for them is almost a day trip - ha, ha, ha.

5. Terminal E is the newest part. Has all kind of shops and food.
There is even a Papadeaux resturant in there if you like Cajun food and seafood.

23. I ususally just shake my head as I walk by that statute
I don't have anything against BushDaddy, but that statue is a little over the top. They did name the whole damn thing airport after him.

27. Check out our Bush statue in downtown Houston, & what happened
to it:

http://houston.indymedia.org/news/2005/02/37372.php

Houston is not all "Bush country" eh?

It's cleaned up now, but the birds poop on it every single day.

What were they thinking?
