28. I don't know how this place stays in business.
The gas station where regular costs $2.48 is on Buford Highway near Lenox Road. Their prices are always fifteen cents higher than the stations nearest them.

It is $6.00 a gallon here in Europe.
Highest is the UK - where it is about to hit $6.80

When will you guys stop bloody moaning. You rule the planet and get it cheap.

By the way - since the stuff is finite - would it not be fair to pay its REAL value. How about £25 per gallon. That would make sort out global warming pretty soon - as everyone started using oil with respect.

These kind of threads always get me angry - as all you yanks bitch on about how hard done by you are. You are busy fucking the planet faster than we can measure - and you want to do it on the cheap?

Jebus.

(sorry guys - I know its just the little folks who get screwed - and the rich don't feel a thing.....its just that you do get it cheap. We get health care, and public transport. Don't mean to have a go at fellow DU'ers really. YOu are a good bunch really!)

27. Ohio $2.39/9 on one side of the street, $2.59/9 on the other
I think Speedway will be changing their price real soon. I live in a twin city. Our twin always has cheaper gas. It was $2.39/9 there this morning. When we drove back into town and saw those two vastly different prices, we couldn't believe it. I think BP got the word that people were not going to stand for the price gouging. Speedway has yet to see the light.

Jumped 10 cents overnight. Tourism is starting to hurt. Drove past the park the other day and you can see it is down from last year.
