The Sept. 11 widows who "mothered" the 9/11 Commission call it a whitewash
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x51380

Along with Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Cassaza and Mindy Kleinberg, Lorie von Auken is one of "the Jersey wives," the Sept. 11 widows who in 2001-2002 led the charge for an independent investigation of 9/11.

If not for their many months of campaigning, we may rightly doubt there ever would have been a 9/11 Commission at all.

Today, Lorie and her fellow fighter Mindy Kleinberg are calling the 9/11 Commission Report a complete whitewash. They dismantled its fraud point-by-point in a joint appearance with Monica Gabrielle two weeks ago on Capitol Hill, before a panel assessing the 9/11 Commission Report chaired by Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA).

A transcript of their one-hour presentation is available here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x51380

(Yesterday all of the Jersey wives issued a press release condemning the 9/11 Commission following the latest news, that it knew about but suppressed reports that Mohamed Atta & Co. had been under surveillance by US authorities more than a year in advance of 9/11. Follow the latest at http://www.911Truth.org and www.citizenswatch.org)

If you're not aware of the issues that make so many people skeptical of the official 9/11 story, please read Lorie's statement - it's an excellent intro and you'll never see things the same way again.

And please, those of you who "get it": kick & nominate this thread to keep up our fellow DUers aware of the "master issue."

People, never forget: 9/11 was the real coup d'etat. Without it, the Bush agenda would have failed miserably. It is everything to them and exposing the fraud is what will bring them down.

19. We must force a phase II, by force if we have to.
Our nation is over, only the absolute truth can begin the process of rebuilding the democratic process once again.

And Americans are morons. How else can you explain the fact that Bush turned his absolute failure into the centerpiece of his administration.

I always came to a sudden halt whenever they were talking on tv. I read the papers about everything they said.

They know the real truth and I'd bet they'll live the rest of their lives proving this so that their spouces/family members didn't die in vain.

8. Had the "scan" function on my car radio going today...
and HAD to stop it when I heard Limpballs talking about Cindy Sheehan. He said she's just another "jersey girl"--trying to discredit her---saying the country may not like the way Iraq is being run (in his opinion, most of those people think we ought to send even more troops--dumbass he is)but there is NOT an anti-Bush sentiment in the country, and most of the country thinks he is an honest guy----yeah, right---what was the last poll?--over half thinks he lied us into war.

Anyway, I loved that-"just another Jersey girl." Hell, I hope so.

9. Oh they are just conspiracists and make the rest of us look bad.
Listen to me! I have some sort of political experience that you can only take my word for because its an anonymous internet board. But no listen to me. We wont win elections this way. With these tin foilers making us all uncomfortable. Don't say LIHOP or MIHOP don't even suggest it... That sort of thing coupled with gay marriage loses elections.. its their fault we lose all the time... dont you want to win? This makes us look bad to the middle!

Wah wah wah!
Blah blah blah!

Sorry... I've had a belly full of naysayers today.

These women are victims that have been betrayed countless times and in the worst of ways.

17. This is a must read...
After watching Kristin Breitweiser On Tweety tonight, I had to do a follow up. The above text transcript was indeed a good follow up as Kristin was most definitely eluding to MIHOP right on national Television. If you need to see anything at all to convince you about the 911 commission cover up. The PLEASE get a hold of tonight's Hardball and read the exchange between Kristin and David Gregory. What a brave and beautiful woman, I had no Idea she lives just two towns over from me.

22. hey i am "from" middletown!! born and raised!
Kristin lives around the corner from my brother ! i lived in next town on 9/11..and i flew for one of the airlines involved..ny based..flt attendant..

i was involved in fla in a round table discussion at univ of tampa with Bob Kerry , commissioner..and i will tell you he is nothing but a liar and the whole 9/11 commission was all lies and coverup!

i had 3 questions i asked and he answered none ..and i had coached my hubby beforehand to ask 2 questions and Bob Kerry answered none of his questions, even when my hubby and i both got visably angry!

they are all lying sob's!
i even took my graduation picture off my wall from my American Airlines graduation in 1970 of me getting my wings and i held it up inches from Bob Kerry and i told him that CRSmith was at my graduation from flight school , CR Smith was the founder of American Airlines..and i told mr Kerry that the two most important things to CR Smith were 1. the safety of his crews, 2. the safety of his passengers, and i told Mr Kerry because of him, Cr Smith is now rolling over in his grave!
Mr Kerry turned white..but refused to answer my "insiders" questions, in front of a room of college professors, and educators, and media..he had some bullshit answer why he wouldn't answer my nor my husbands questions!

i am 100% convinced that each and every member of the 9/11 commission this administration has something on them ..they are bought ..all of them...

my home town lost the most people the morning of 9/11...i lost co -workers..and my son graduated with 114 kids..the town ( small town) i was living next to middletown lost 70 people...and i hold this entire administration responsible!
i will till my last breath is taken.
fly

23. I'm still waiting for them to tell me why the biggest military machine in
human history didn't lift a finger to defend our nation's capitol on 9/11, with almost an hour's notice.

Air Force stand-down. NORAD standard procedures ignored. Not even an ack-ack gun on top of the Pentagon.

30. Mike Ruppert says Jersey wives getting the picture.
Cynthia McKinney's recent 9/11 hearings will be broadcast on C-SPAN Aug 31 and Sep 2. Here are Mike Ruppert's impressions of the hearings.

There were two memorable moments for me that day.

The Jersey Girls (sans Kristen Breitweiser) are turning around on the 9/11 Report and have read Rubicon. I was amazed at how angry they're getting. They almost quoted my chapter on FBI Agent Dave Frasca. It's also apparent to me that these victimized women are in excruciating agony as the lights go on for them. They had trusted the Kean Commission because they were already devastated by the loss of their spouses. As it is for everyone who discovers the corruption of the American government and economy there are many layers of painful, raw, exposed nerves that get exposed as reality sets in.

The second memorable moment came after I had asked a question about congressional oversight responsibilities, civil liberties, and the Constitution which brought the audience to its feet in a show of support for Cynthia McKinney and the question itself. Rhetorically, I asked whether any nation that had so descended into lawlessness and totalitarianism had ever voluntarily reformed itself. From my experience only war and defeat or collapse had ever ended such regimes. Every panelist agreed that Septmeber 11th was the watershed event which had opened the door to repression, fear, and violations of the constitution and human rights from Guantanamo, to Iraq, to Iowa.

It was a large panel comprised of experts on domestic and foreign policy. The best answer to my question came from former 8-term Congresswoman from Ohio Mary Rose Oakar who is now the President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. She pointed out that the McCarthy era ended when a lone U.S. Senator, Margaret Chase Smith, stood up on the Senate floor and basically told McCarthy he was full of crap.

Just for a moment it made me feel good about America again. But it was a short moment as I realized we are much, much further down the road than we were with Joseph McCarthy. Peak Oil was not a screaming reality then and the US was not at the time embroiled in undeclared wars. The McCarthy era did not see drastic new legislation such as the Patriot Act, the Homeland Security Bill or - most importantly - a US congress that had openly abdicated its constitutional prerogatives and obligations.

31. I have been a fan of these ladies since the 9/11 tradegy. They
are a priceless cyst on the butt of an idiot for a president, and I just hope someday they get the answers they so richly deserve. I really would love to see each and every one of them elected to office in Wash DC because I feel I could really trust them, be they Dem or Rep, because they have seen things and heard things we have not. I love you ladies.
