When to pull out
So let me get this straight....

If you are a Neo-Con, pulling out...

...of your sexual partner is good even though you might bring an unplanned life into this world (because you are not hindering the will of God as to whether you get pregnant or not)

...money from social security for private accounts is good, because people ought to be able to decide what to do with their own money (the same people who are not allowed to decide many other things because they don't have the sense to do so including when to shuffle off this mortal coil)

...of Iraq is bad even though it will save the lives of our soldiers (the culture of life does not, apparently, include citizens serving in the military)

Again, explain to me how this is the culture of life?

1. I posed a similar question to my FIL last week.
How can you be pro-life and pro-war?

I thought for sure he was going to have an aneurism on the spot as the two ideas bounded around in his bald head. It was really precious - unfortunately I spent the night on the couch.

2. Your headline reminds me of an old Vietnam war time George Carlin
routine.

"Pull out? Doesn't sound manly to me! I say stay in there and get the job done!"

Seems like there will always be chickenhawks with little dicks (pun intended!) to get us into a "quagmire" and turn our kids into cannon fodder!

3. Thanks for reminding me of that
I was small during Vietnam, but proud of my Mom and her Impeach Nixon bumper sticker!
