Monica Crowley could star in a remake of "THE BAD SEED"

Remember that old movie "The Bad Seed"? The little blonde girl that nobody really liked, but she was just so perfect that no one dared to stand up to her?

"I'll give you a basket of hugs for a bushel of kisses!"

She wound up killing a bunch of folks. God finally struck her dead at the end of the movie with a lightning bolt.

South Park did a take on it too, I believe....lol...I swear, Crowley's scowl at Ron Reagan after the Cindy Sheehan segment on Coast to Coast was just precious.....she looked like somebody had peed on her easy bake oven.

It doesn't have to. Here's a quick-and-easy rule of thumb:

if you are about to bash her on the basis of

* her looks or

* anything to do with her gender or

* any gender-specific issue, or

* her sexuality or sexual behavior (whether real or imagined), or

* call her a name that mostly or totally applies to women,


you're about to be a sexist (no matter what YOUR gender is -- yes, women can be sexist and there are far too many of them right here at DU).

Sexism is agaisnt DU rules, and some threads of the sort HAVE been locked and some deleted, so just bash her all you want on the basis of her politics, her performance as an anchor, etc., but NOTHING about her as a woman.
