1. "Has the war in Iraq been worth the cost?"
"Worth it"? for whom, Halliburton?

Still waiting to see what the American people are supposed to be "getting" for this war...

11. Gas was supposed to be 99cents a gallon by now.
Some govt official said that in 2003. Was it Wolfowitz?

13. Even the thought they could offer up a blood-for-cheap-gas trade
is reprehensible.

With some work and the law on our side, one day, we'll send 'em all to the gallows.

16. For sale at the Best Buy video game counter (April, 2017)
Hey kids!
Pick up the latest "Project for the New American Century" war game - "The Phucked Up Iraq War Blowout." Only $759.99!!!!
Have fun while learning about one of the darkest periods in our country's history. Great characters: "Super Rummy, Kamikondi, Chew'em up Cheney, and of course your favorite - Bringemon-Bandar Bush." And remember - $50 from each purchase goes to the Sunni Housing Reconstruction Program (NO MONEY will go to the Shiite area which is now part of Greater Iran).
Kids under the age of five must have parental approval.

15. I'm not so sure about the effectiveness being dismissed.
I was shocked at NBC Nightly News tonight. Much more "alarming" tone toward the Iraq war. I could tell and I remember when the 6:30 newscasts began serious questioning of Vietnam. Also had a major blurb on Sheehan (maybe in defiance of GE?), although I didnt like the first quote they showed from her ("George Bush killed my son.") Sorta painted her as a witch to Bubba & Claudette & the kiddies who may have been seeing her for the first time. Maybe this opened the door for ABC & CBS to bring on major coverage.

2. so many disgusting people who don't side with a mother
yet talk - lie - about supporting families.

this whole episode puts a lie to all the things the gop says they stand for.

i have nothing but contempt and hatred for anyone that does not support this lady.

PERIOD

7. in denial
serious, serious denial.

They killed Cindy's son by supporting this goddamn war, and that kind of truth is a little hard to face.

8. Thanks for posting, Autor.
That article is an atom bomb that just dropped down in Crawford. And yes, the article is correct: Bush and his cronies are sweating bullets. They're reaching for the smelling salts and the nitroglycerine because they've just been given their walking papers.

I'm absolutely convinced they can not fight this.

I also did the little poll on AOL. Notice the bottom poll "do you believe the cost was worth it? Amazing answer.

10. "Will Sheehan's Protest Be Effective?" That's a pretty worthless
poll question. What do you mean by effective? You mean she will get to meet? It will end the Iraq occupation? Pretty vague.

19. I know! I could've voted either way
It will be very effective in that people will hear her story and realize what a coward and liar Junior is. Or, not effective at all because pigs will fly before Junior meets with the woman who terrifies him. :hide:

I went with my first thought. Millions more people will become aware and that is HIGHLY effective, IMO.

So, yes, that poll question was a waste.

Careful of the 3rd question, it's order is opposite the first two (negtive to positive vs positive to negative)!

when the results came, the order of the last question was switched. Maybe because "not at all" had more votes, but I'm suspicious!

29. I just went back and looked at totals and it's the same as earlier.
Guess it turned into a wipe out and the "equipment" got to humid. They'll be back with a revised totao soon. Just like Ohio 2nd District was for Hackett.
