Poll question: Need a slogan for a t-shirt - Please pick one?
Edited on Thu Aug-11-05 10:14 PM by DoYouEverWonder
Hey Night Owls, I need a slogan for a t-shirt I want to print for the folks down in Crawford and I can't decide what the heck it should say. Earlier today some folks on the forum gave me suggestions and so I've picked my top ten.

I appreciate any help and/or suggestions. See you guys in the morning, may the best slogan win.

BTW: For the graphic, I plan to create a line drawing of a pair of hands hold yellow roses, like in this picture of Cindy.

15. Wouldn't use this one, sorry...
but I know how we natives are about our state -

and it just backfires to imply that we all agree on anything.

And you can tell by the numbers of folks there in Crawford - and here on this board - that we certainly don't agree, all of us, with Bush.

18. I voted for the peace can do better
because, for one thing, the slogan needs to be short so that it can be read in one swoop of the eyes and.. I am not sure that attacking Bush would be appropriate here

From the Heart Peace Blooms.
From the Soul It Blossoms.

or
Peace blooms from the heart.
From the soul, it blossoms.

on edit: just playing with the idea some more.

22. Why aren't the Bush twins fighting in Iraq?
Why aren't they fighting for their dad's "noble" cause.

This is actually something similar to what Cindy said on one of her TV interviews.

Why didn't all those Republican "Patriotic" politicians and Bush-supporters send their boys and girls to die for their country? If they support Bush and his war so much, why aren't they willing to pay the ultimate price???

It's 36"x24" poster sized. You can shrink it for a t-shirt as well.

37. It's 72 DPI, but very large.
Check it out. If you shrink it, the contrast will only increase - you can raise the DPI as you decrease the size.

Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 10:34 AM by DoYouEverWonder

This is what I've come up with so I can get something out before shipping time.

I am still working on a second design using the Chickenhawk joke and the cartoon Gatorboy drew of Cindy standing in front of the tank but that will have to wait for Monday at this point.

Is this one okay?

Thanks for all the input and great ideas.

I've sent Gatorboy a pm because the image that's been posted on the web is too low res for me to use.

If I can get a better image, I will do a second batch of t-shirts to send down there.
