My e-mail to the Boston Herald in response to their slanderous attack on
Cindy Sheehan:

Why do you find it necessary to slander Mrs. Sheehan and misrepresent her account of her previous meeting with Mr. Bush?

The slightest bit of research into the original interview following her all to brief meeting with him would show that her position has not changed in the slightest. You have simply taken a quote out of context, most likely by repeating what was already misrepresented by Matthew Drudge on his infamously inaccurate web site.

Here is what Mrs. Sheehan actually said to the Vacaville Reporter following the previous meeting:

"We haven't been happy with the way the war has been handled," Cindy said. "The president has changed his reasons for being over there every time a reason is proven false or an objective reached."

If you would like to read the entire story, along with the correct context of the quotes you used (instead of misrepresenting what she said), please go to the site of the Vacaville Reporter as opposed to Matthew Drudge. http://www.thereporter.com/republished

In addition, you would be well advised to read the clarification published by that paper on August 8th of this year wherein they also state that Mrs. Sheehan's position has not changed in the slightest. http://www.thereporter.com/news/ci_2923943

If this is the best research your "editorial staff" can do prior to running a slanderous attack on a grieving mother, you might wish to have them take a few courses in journalism. You do remember what journalism is don't you?

3. I always try to sneak in a couple of zingers :)
Notice I also only address shrub as "Mr. Bush" instead of any honoriffic. :).

5. Yeah, we should quit calling him President,
and keep addressing him as Mister, or lame-duck, or asshole, or some such other title.

called that asshole pResident, and never will.

It's usually Asshole, Chimpy, or just "Bush" if I absolutely have to use a name to identify who I'm talking about.

14. Bad Week!
I caught a minor bug that wore my system down. Legs are killing me today. Got that burning/biting itch thing going on from the mid-thigh to the top of my feet.

It's happened before. I'll get through it. Thanks for asking. How about you? Getting any better with the needles?

20. Yep! I'm practically an expert now!
:D

Sorry to hear you're not doing well. I'm wondering if I might be preparing to relapse. We walked around the supermarket a bit last night, and my legs have been buzzing ever since.

I think I'm going to have to go back to my dermatologist. I have this stuff called "cellulitis" on the side of my nose. I had it once as a kid and recognized it, so I looked it up. Turns out it's either staph or strep, and the Betaseron can bring it on.

Doc can't see me til the 23rd. And this thing ITCHES like crazy.

Hey, we do what we can, right? I'll go listen to some Todd and all will be better.

13. I Use The Voice Of The "Happy Iraqi"
When they always call him "Meeeester Boooosh"...making it sound like they're clearing phlem from their throats.

Of course Commander Bunnypants is an old fave.

I haven't capitalized the P in president since 1/20/01.

Cheers...

16. I've Really Taken To "Silverspoon" Lately
I think the whole entitlement aspect of his personality is what grates upon me the most. A progressively failing little twit whoh thinks the world owes him success. The ultimate example of failing up, i guess.

Just think where someone with brains, heart, and curiosity might have done for this country, instead of this spoiled rich brat.

And how people could vote for the kid of another failure is a mystery to me.

2. Very nice, ET!
Sad to see that even in a liberal town like Boston you still have to have a right-wing rag.
