Help - motels near Crawford?
I know The Peace House has made mention of a Best Western nearby, but I can't find the link to that info here on DU.

I'm coming into Crawford from VA on Tuesday (I think), but my back is in not too great shape right now and I can't risk a sleeping bag for a couple of days - I might not be able to get back on the plane!

Can someone here point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

DB - who is off to see the chiropractor soon...

1. We need to plan
a big DU meetup there. proud2Blib and I are probably going there on Tuesday too.

I hope your back is better by then. I had not even thought of getting a place to stay yet.

8. I'm staying at this Best Western
The price was good compared to the other hotels in the immediate area (you might get a little cheaper staying over on I-35).

It's very well located as it's the last row of hotels as you head out toward Crawford.

6. PM me!
Yes, we definitely need to have a DU meetup in Crawford. I'll let you know when I have a place to stay, and we'll go from there. I'll also let you know availability of rooms, etc.

4. It's just west of Waco
There should be a few hundred hotel/motels in that area.

5. Crawford is about 10-15 miles west of Waco.
Try staying there.

If there are no rooms, try going about 25 miles down to Temple.
