Bill Maher on Larry King last night.
Bill was great. One of the things I really like that he said is that the Dems need to stop fishing in the Repubs pool. We need to voice our liberal values, offer a true alternative to the regressives & start fishing from the pool of people who do not vote.

It was similar to what Arianna Huffington said last year. Stop going for the undecided voter & go for the people who do not vote.

I think there are millions of people who don't see much difference between the two parties. Sure, we have some great liberal reps, but then we have the DINOs, who's critical votes more often than not, swing a bill for the Repubs. I honestly feel that if the Dems would speak our liberal convictions loud & proud that we would entice millions of non-voters to the polls.

1. Sorry I missed it--but I generally can't stomach Larry's show.
I totally agree with what you and he said! Wish the dems would pay attention!

2. I saw him too, and agree
He also said Dems need to take a stand on things and stop worrying about how the Repubs will spin it. When Dems do that, they get so wishy-washy you can't see any difference.

3. He hit a nail on the head
He said after 9-11, everyone agreed that we had to go after the terrorists behind it.

But instead of that, the US created "something terrible" that was much bigger and much worse than was necessary.

That, IMO, sums it up in a nutshell.

4. i saw it last night
He was spot on about everything. A great showing. Even had a caller going into detail on voter fraud in Ohio. I bet the CNN execs loved that. NOT!

6. I liked his response to voter fraud: Republicans always cheat
Maher said because Republicans always cheat the Dems need to get enough extra votes to offset the "cheat" votes and the way to do that is to go after the people who don't vote.
