Repuke responses to Sheehan question...
I know, I cite Hannity.com forums a lot...but those Hannitities irk me so bad i have to let it out...

Question: Should Pres meet fallen soldier's mom and answer her question?

Answers:

-'He already has!!! The other moms, dads of fallen soldiers have not whinned to this extent!!!! Why doesn't she get a life and honor her son and stop complaining!!!! She apparently is letting her emotions rule her life!!! Why should the president listen to her and stop the war because of her!!!! Presidnet Bush is the commander in chief "NOT HER".

This is beginning to turn into a political disgrace and the livberals are following

Carleneg'

-'I read a lot of the posts and I have got to say this.. President Bush said there is no higher calling than to 'be in the service of your country'.. not 'join the war'. His encouragement is for service in all phases of our government, not just the military. I know honesty sucks.. but this thing is bad enough without the masses continuing OR creating lies.

Second.. I take exception to the headline. Sheehan has always had the support of the Liberal/Socialist/Progressive types (better include Communism.. since Communist USA is the umbrella group supporting this) it is not increasing. HER support is actually decreasing.. check out this e-mail from her family.'

-'The thing is .. President Bush does meet with the grieving families.. just as he did with Sheehan last June.

The problem with the left is they forgot.. we have the Right to FREE Speech.. nobody has ever said they have the Right To Be Heard....'

-'Well.. what about the group of War Protesters she brought.. doesn't Bush owe them an answer too..

I mean after all.. it is their party.'

-'to be honest--

the woman is in the middle of denial of the truth.
the best thing Bush can do for, is to not meet with her, nor say anything.

otherwise it is rewarding a denial attitude, and it will be harder for the woman to recover.

She has to accept on her own that her son is dead, and he died as a VOLUNTEER, defending the nation.

the terrorists are the ones to blame.
She has to accept reality, if she ever wants to stop hurting.

and those scumbags that are using her, in her grief, need to be slapped around a bit. Let the woman be.

Leave her alone, and quit using her pain for your own purposes.
show a little compassion.

I am going to pray for her, and that the Lord bring His hand on those that are using her.'

-'<snip>...she isn't pulling a stunt.

she has been egged into this by liberal swine, who are using her grief.
the woman is in denial, and rather than help her accept and deal with her loss, she is being made merchandise of.

That's the "left" for you.
She's just speaking from grief.
Don't look at her as another Michael Moore.
This woman is just being human, and going through the process of losing a loved one.

Please withhold judgement of her for awhile.
She'll eventually realize there is only emptiness in all this stuff she is doing.
It won't take long. Maybe a couple of weeks to a month.

The best thing Bush can do, is to not reply.
Not for his sake, but for hers. She has to accept reality, and let go of her child'

-'So why isnt she sitting in front of hillary clinton's house, demanding to speak with her?

You forget that a lot of democrats voted for War.

As far as the mother, I pity her. Yes, I pity her for the loss of her son. But I pity her even more for prostituting her dead son for political purposes.

She is a pathetic person with some serious mental issues.'

And my personal favorite!!!:

-'In a word, "NO".
He's already spoken to the heifer once.
I personally wouldn't **** on her at this point. The way she's acting is NOT the way to act if you want to speak to the President and she damn well knows it.
So this is all a giant publicity stunt'

What a guy!

MAN I HATE THOSE FUCKIN 'PEOPLE.'(and I use the term people loosely)

through to the end . .

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This sure as hell sounds like a petition for redress of grievances to me.

6. I think I can top that
Rightwing talk show host Phil Hendrie goes even lower, writing an article amazingly entitled “Anti-War Mom: Another Ignorant Cow,” Hendrie called Sheehan a “self-righteous ignoramus,” and then went into full mockery mode: “A mother grieving her loss. The inhumanity of war. Oh, the wickedness of it all.”

I’ve seen callousness before, but this piece may top them all. And catch Hendrie’s defense of the Iraq War: “This war was unavoidable, brought on by an historic clash of culture and ideal, powered by the American people themselves, rising to meet the future, pissing off the rag heads.” Rag heads?

By the way, Hendrie’s screed was posted on the website, freerepublic.com, which calls itself “the premier online gathering place for independent, grassroots conservatism on the web.”

After reading the title of that site (whish I assumed to be sarcastic) and reading his first entry on gay marriage, I thought for sure he was a liberal and that you had the wrong guy...whoops, then I scrolled on down and got to the 'Cindy is a Cow' or whatever entry and realized my folly.

Thanks for the link!...I think.....:puke:

11. This line says it all "I am going to pray for her, and that the Lord...
...bring His hand on those that are using her."

here's how totally insane freeper filth really are. they're not going to pray that the war ends and that peace is brought to iraq. they're not going to pray for our troops to come home so the killing and dying can be stopped. no....they're praying for the lord to "bring his hand on" those liberals that oppose war. it makes no sense....i'm willing to bet that the few freepers that can actually read have never even read the new testament.

now, i'm not religious at all, but i attended catholic grammar school and so i know a little about jesus. if there is a lord and if he's gonna bring a hand down and crush anyone it's gonna be the war mongers.

12. Yep. they're crazy.
The guy who posted that is a HUGE wingnut, self-righteous bastard.

I used to post over there a lot a few years ago and he hasn't changed a bit in his responses.

Funny thing is, he was banned at one point for harassing other female posters through PM's...no shit. He came back with a new name.

Can you say HYPOCRITE?

21. hypocrite is one word......but the one that comes to mind now is....
HUMAN GARBAGE.

i know i've offended some here with my sweeping generalizations of republicans. at the risk of offending them again i must say that anyone, ANYONE, that supports, apologizes for or votes for bushco and other republicans, especially after watching them expolit human life for the pursuit of wealth, is human garbage. yes, that's right....i'll say it again....if you voted for bush you are human filth. period.

'The Hug' becomes a TV ad for Bush

add a $14.2 million ad campaign, 2.3 million direct mailings, e-mails, phone calls and a Web site - which just happens coincidently of course, to be paid for by Progress for America Voter Fund***, and, hey! prostituting death for political purposes describes the bush to a T.

22. CNN this morning
COSTELLO: See, now you know why. Let's head to you, Mark, and talk about -- let's talk about President Bush. This is going to be a long, hot summer. He's got, like, grieving mothers camped out by his Crawford, Texas, ranch. Is this just the beginning for him?

MARK SIMONE, WABC RADIO HOST: Well, he did meet with that mother a while back. In fact, right after the meeting, she said he was wonderful, sensitive and made her feel whole again. So -- and her own family has now written apparently -- members of her family denouncing what she's doing. But, you know, I don't think he's really an vacation. Any time you're in 100 degree heat clearing brush, to me, that's a chain gang. Not a vacation.
