Pessimism aside - Bush *has* lost one big thing
(And no, it's not that *thing*. That would be a *little* thing.)

Over the years, Shrubby the Weed-Chopper has been able to escape to Crawford and enjoy relative peace and quiet there, away from dissention, protests, most of the press, etc. Now with Camp Casey - regardless of the eventual outcome - I believe much of that is gone forever. Crawford will never be the refuge it once was for the Shrub, and I'll bet that really pisses him off.

1. That's what is so beautiful about Cindy's vigil...
It keeps the spotlight on the miserable creep.

2. Better yet
He's lost CONTROL OF THE AGENDA.

For the moment at least, Cindy and the left control the agenda.

His next move will be focused on reclaiming the agenda.

Look for some kind of major policy announcement in the next few days....maybe even this afternoon.

3. He has already conceded a lot
Think about it, the President of the United States had to come out and address a single private citizen.

5. I expected he wouldn't even be told about Camp Crawford, but
his roadside photo op yesterday and today's helicopter escape shows he's onto it and running scared. I wonder what excuses he'll make afterwards, like he did when he ran and hid from 9-11.

'Yeah, I was resolute. I dissembled from that there mess...dissembled, that means I got the Hell outta there, gave them trespassers the finger and led the charge to the battlefront, with my wi...uh...Condi. I mean Ms. Rice. Yeah. that's the ticket.'

7. That's the BEST part.. he cannot even control his "vacation"
He might actually cut the trip short and find a pressing reason to go back to DC :)

8. And I don't think he'll ever be able to escape there again.
I think we'll always have some type of protest at Crawford from now on. And who knows, maybe Cindy can stay parked out there indefinitely, but ultimately she's just going to become exhausted.
