but Ed has Sen. Byrd on now, and he asked him about Cindy Sheehan. Sen. Byrd said 'I'm behind her 100%. She's standing up for what she believes in and doing what the Constitution of the US guarantees'. He said, 'She gave her all in this war' and he said he admires her courage ~ 'this is what this country is supposed to be about, being able to stand up and dissent' He said Bush should be able to find time to talk to her ~ Ed said 'he had time to go to a fundraiser, so he does seem to have time on his hands'.

Max Cleland. He said he will not back down from them. Ed said it was Byrd's speech against the war that made him think about it. The IWR speech ~ 'it was inspiring'.
