Cindy is my hero! She just did what our Dem leaders don't hav the balls to |
|
She used the L word live on a major media news network. She called Bush a LIAR, not only to his ugly face, but to the faces of each and every ignorant person who voted for that scumbag.
Now....to all of our so-called Democratic spokespeople: Shame on all of you for not having the courage of this wonderful, intelligent woman, Cindy Sheehan, to stand up in front of the country and call Bush a liar to his face.
Thank you, Cindy, for doing this for us. You are a courageous fine American, and you are for real!

6. Exactly. If these pansies can't use her speech as a catalyst |
|
to find their own deeply buried courage to use the L word when it counts, then there is no hope for them.

9. When you've lost the most important thing in your life |

Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 05:28 PM by stopbush
you've taken the worst shot you'll ever take. I have two kids, and were I to lose one I don't know how I'd go on. It's every parent's worst nightmare.
Cindy can speak truth to power. Bush IS a fucking LIAR. What else can he do to her after he's already done his worst?
Go Cindy!
Our Dem "leaders" on the other hand, are still living in wonderland, protecting their turf and hoping for the few crumbs the Rs will throw to them for selling their souls.

Cindy is proving that - please stop with the tired, outdated "balls" reference; thank you.

12. Oh for crise sake. I couldn't fit the word "courage" into the thread title |
|
Thus the word "balls" instead of "courage". In retrospect, for your sake only, I should've used the word "guts" if only I had thought of it at the time, but then again, stupid old me thought "balls" was a common slang word that MOST people accepted as a proper way of expressing one's courage regardless of gender. Excuse my temporary ignorance and "tired, outdated references" if you will, please, if you don't happen to agree.
Talk about nitpicking...

No, it's an extremely sexist expression that degrades women for not having "balls."
And, no, it's not less sexist to credit women for having balls.
I hate to be a pain, but this expression really bothers me.

they turn around and apologize or re-phrase it in a "non-offensive" way. why should they be different from the repug leadership? they say what they damn well please and to hell with everyone else.

15. Cindy is speaking the truth and it's sticking |
|
The Bush spin machine has no way to twist this. Rove hasn't figured out a way to smear her and distort her message. Gotta love it!
The Dem leaders should pay attention. Maybe they'll learn something about articulating a strong message and working the media.
Power to the people!
