Fuck these assholes.
Gregory is just another in a long line of MSNBC whores.

"NUGE" could only hope to write songs like "Sympathy for the Devil" or "Street Fighting Man".

I don't even know why we bother to appear on these shows to provide something for these right wing assholes to sink their teeth into.

As soon as I turned on Hardball and saw Tony Perkins I said to myself..."Great, another religo-fascist-asswipe".

Nugent should be in jail for screwing 15 year olds when he was in his 20's.

50. I saw him in concert in 1968 - he sucked
I went to a concert where Ted Nugent & the Amboy Dukes were one of the opening acts, along with a good Irish rock group named Eyre Apparent. They opened for three other acts that completely blew Nugent away: Soft Machine, Vanilla Fudge, and last but not least, Jimi Hendrix. After hearing Hendrix live, especially when he tore into his blues Red House, he destroyed any memory of Nugent. I was just a kid then but even I could play better than Nugent. Nugent didn't belong within 10 miles of the same stage. And to think that Nugent has badmouthed Hendrix ever since.

New album casts Stones as critics of right-wingers
By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa
Thursday, August 11, 2005 - Updated: 03:07 AM EST

The Rolling Stones tumble into town next week to begin rehearsals for a pair of shows that are sure to blow the Sox off fans at Fenway Park. But the British band's invasion is certainly not without controversy.
Yesterday, the usually apolitical wrinkly rockers came under fire for taking aim at America's religious right in a new song on their upcoming album.
''You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite,'' Mick Jagger wails. ''You call yourself a patriot. Well, I think you are full of (bleep).''

Naturally, the right-wingnuts on the Internet think the Brits are bashing President George Bush, hence all the high dudgeon in the conservative chat rooms.
''It certainly is very critical of certain policies of the administration, but so what! Lots of people are critical,'' Mick told the TV show ''Extra'' last night.
Jagger, who didn't include ''Sweet Neo Con'' on the 12-track advance CD sent to rock critics, denied the tune was aimed at anyone specifically. He told Newsweek ''it is direct'' and added that bandmate Keith Richards was ''a bit worried'' about backlash since he lives in Connecticut.

60. And dont forget

Even after the Dixie Chicks got involved in the Toby Keith flack their tour grossed more money than ANY Country act in America, even more than MeatHead Keith.

Green Day is doing it...Sum41 has a great protest song on their latest album called "We're All To Blame"...Offspring has spoken out. The hardcore underground punk scene is completely RAGING with protest music (Anti-Flag, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Descendents, Face to Face, the list is fucking endless)....

The real problem is the shithead radio stations are a propaganda arm and won't allow music of dissent to be heard. Back in the 1960s we had real competition...AM Radio at the time played all the poppy bullshit, but FM Radio was playing the REAL TUNES. Funny how FM Radio, Wash Post, Public Broadcasting, and the media is now being run completely by right wingers.

Patriotic music is contrived bullshit for the most part. It's the typical put your head in the sand, tip your hat at everything we do, admit we are God's chosen people and move on...

I have about 10 "protest songs" written...music to about half of them....

It's called FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. They can have my guitar and pen when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

65. I dont believe Tim McGraw

was out touring at the time. Real questions about his political affiliation. He has a song called "Red Ragtop" or something that is a PRO-CHOICE song.

Young kid gets pregnant, they have an abortion, and move on...knowing all along they made the right decision for THEM.

THIS IS being produced out of Nash-fucking-ville...Country artists can sing about politics, but they gotta be subtle if they do it.
