8. In England, it's about $7.00 a gallon

Yeah, the gallons are a bit bigger, but that still makes it about $6.00. I guess it's about the same in France, Germany and most of Europe. I think the era of cheap petrol in the USA is finally over. You are going to have to get used to paying the same as the rest of the world.

Europe has always paid more for gas -- maybe that's why they invested in public transportation.

14. LOL!!!! My husband has a coworker who voted for * simply because

he gave him some $300 in tax money back and "Clinton never did that." "* is good people." Guy was a loud mouth in the staff lounge, but now sits quietly in the corner whenever politics or current events are topics of conversation.
