We don't care... the right, and their death
Folks what we are seeing right now is a complete meltdown. Look I don't know yet whether Cindy Sheehan will have a long term effect (my gut tells me she will). But what is clear is the Right is having a serious problem... and they are starting to feel the heat.

We may see this in small and large ways. One of them, (nor related to Cindy) is the price of gas... finally folks are starting to get hungry... no, not the usual suspects but the middle class folks who are seeing their money going away in gas tanks. I am almost betting that Hummers and other large vehicles are not gonna be too popular any more.

Truckers are protesting.

And then there is the Gallagher boys going down Crawford way screaming WE DON'T CARE... this may very well be that moment where the turning of the worm will be far more obvious.

Personally I see some folks starting to feel the heat, they are bush bots and they are having some trouble supporting this. So maybe, just maybe, we are seeing the worm finally turning.

3. Where were the "we don't care" crowds during the Terri Schiavo debacle?
I am sure the left didn't have any.

4. The worm has "been turning" for a year now
with absolutely nothing changing. The worm was going to turn with the Dan Rather memos, the only turning was the turning in of Dan Rather's resignation. The worm was going to turn with the Terri Schiavo mess, and yet Bush received little if any backlash for intervening in a personal matter. The worm was going to turn with the release of the Downing Street Memos, has there been a single indictment? A single congressional investigation? The worm was going to turn with the revelation that Karl Rove was Matthew Cooper's source for Valerie Plame information, and the fat ugly bastard is still the President's right hand man.

I'm not saying nothing will happen, but every two or three months a new revelation or situation has the left excited about the prospect of some major change occurring with the Administration only to have nothing happen. I'm urging caution instead of excitement because should nothing major happen anytime soon, some people are going to become very disillusioned.
