I really find it strange how many of Cindy's critics are basically telling Cindy to "get over it" as she's not the first to lose a child in a war.

Besides the callousness of this kind of statement, her critics miss the central point that Cindy has been trying to make: This war was started on a pack of lies, and having our finest die for a pack of lies is wrong. Cindy's point is incontestable, no matter how loud right-wing thugs yell.

This isn't just about Cindy's son, it's about how a nation decides to go to war. When a nation decides to go to war in an illegal manner, without any rationale, it is deciding to *murder* the soldiers it sends to fight, as well as the people the soldiers kill.

I'm proud that Cindy can highlight this issue for us all especially because she was so personally affected by it.
