Am I wrong? Seems as if the Bad guys are on the run... |
|
Psychological turn? I am getting the impression those who oppose Bush and his policies are slowly becoming the rule rather than the exception.
Those who support Bush are having to defend themselves more frequently. They are having to defend a defenseless policy.
Surely, the freeper are still yelling, but more out of desperation than of conviction of their believes.
It should remain so, the pressure to make people realize that there has to be a mind change for the world to survive.
Or am I just whistling Dixie?
Hard for me to tell from where I am.

Or not.
We won't know until we're on the other side of this horrorshow. There's no way to tell when the tipping point will come, if it'll come in the forseeable future, or even recognize it when it does arrive. The American capacity for self-delusion is near boundless.

I think that, in a few years, we will mark mid-2005 as a landmark moment when neoconservatism died, conservative coalitions fell apart, and when it became apparent to a critical mass of people that the conservative ideology was bankrupt.
There's one scary aspect to that. That would leave about 3 and 1/2 years of *'s pResidency, which would reinforce his candidacy for being the Anti-Christ according to Nostradamus's predictions, an office I am sure he aspires to, given his behavior.

8. Stay on your guard. A new homemade "terra attack" has |

been predicted. That would change the mood again. Since they now have all their restricting laws firmly in place I'm afraid it would change more than the mood.

9. "defending the indefensible" - a good term for freeper's speech |
|
when freepers defend their ideas they are
defending the indefensible.
they dont have a leg to stand on.
Bush poll averages around 42. Its prior low, before the Trade Center attacks, was around 55.
He is at a new low, and sinking. He should retire, and the whole administration with him. "We regret stealing the election and will resign if you dont put us on a chain gang in Georgia".

defending the indefensible
That sounds better than what I wrote.
But, as mentioned, a wounded animal is at its most dangerous.
I doubt the greedy ones will give up.
You know, the term neo-con should be changed to "whatever it takes to make a buck crowd" I doubt they really believe their "ideology"
Does anyone know a neo-con who is not stinking rich? It is all about money.
James Dobson neo-con fundamentalist does not worry about his next meal. That is for sure

If Cindy Sheehan does not represent Critical Mass, I will be very surprised. From the Model T Ford through the Big Mac, the greatest successes have been the simplest things.
What could be simpler than a grieving mother wanting some answers and daring to ask for them? Ordinary people begin to think "Hell, I could do THAT."
Aside from the War For Profit And Lies In Iraq, things are pretty shit-tay for the Average American under bu$h. You could even call the situation volatile. A SPARK would be all it would take to set off an explosion--and the spark's name is Cindy Sheehan.

Bush has gotten several key bills through Congress prior to the recess, still has a strong Republican majority in both houses Is also about to get Roberts on the Supreme Court.
Nah, I've seen nothing to suggest a turning of the tide yet. The Bush agenda is still going forward in Congress and beyond. I'll believe the tide has turned when congressional Republicans begin abandoning the Bush agenda wholesale. That has not happened yet, although the cracks have Begin to show with Walter Jones and Bill Frist beginning to make small breaks with Administration positions.
Remember most of America's still hearing Aruba,Vander Sloot, Aruba.
Do not underestimate the ignorance of the masses.

14. Murdock, that's just inertia. the past. |
|
the present is Cindy.
When the spirit of the times firms up and solidifies into millions of votes, you will see congress change its spots.
Meanwhile, speed things up --- promote AAR. Leaflets with the frequence on it.. or get it into your town by having union LOCALS do what the IBEW local in anchorage did.. KUDO.. buy a sttion and put AAR on it.
bypass the AFLCIO, get a LOCAL to do the necessary thing. Give the dems a VOICE.
so we can nullify HATE RADIO.
