Question for anyone at Camp Casey |
|
Anybody at Camp Casey.......is there a couple of trees in the vicinity that Cindy could use.....about 12-16 ft apart?
The reason I ask is that I read she had to abandon her tent because of the fire ants. I would suggest for her to get a hennessy hammock to use - IF there are trees there. (I can't remember if there are trees in the designated areas.
The hennessy hammock is a covered hammock to sleep in. It has a rain fly to keep you toasty dry and the best part is that you are OFF the ground so there are no pesky bugs or critters bothering you. There is a bug net to keep off mosquitoes as well. I bought one for a camping trip up north - and the mosquitoes were thick as thieves - and they could not get in to bite me. Sleep on a bit of an angle and you are not sagging in the middle like most hammocks. I just can't say enough about them. I would even send mine down there IF I knew the address and IF she would use it.
Someone please let me know. It is a small thing I could do and I want to help.
