Chimpy's nervous breakdown....when, where and in what form..... |
|
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 09:15 AM by Chimpys_Last_Stand
....how's it going to happen? Any thoughts?
Pinning it down is just a guessing game, mind you, I'd love to see it happen publically...say during one of his rarer than rare press conferences....someone softballs him an Iraq question, nothing to really get his back up, maybe a question about troop levels...are they really going to start coming down next spring?...and he tips over. All his suppressed rage boils over in a bug-eyed rant, with arms flailing about like the primate he is, spit flying from his mouth and landing on the front row of the press corps, his chin quivering, his voice cracking, going so far off script and message that one of his aides has to step in and end it...tugging at Dumbya's one arm and leading him away while he continues to rant, kind of like an out-of-control garden hose.
:toast:
******************************************* On edit: I thought I was outlining an at least semi-humourous scenario, outlining how Bush might someday have a public meltdown - you know, kind of like how Bob Novak did? - though not really being serious, just fantasizing a little, having a little fun. Anyway.

between the huge amounts of drugs he takes, and his puppetmasters' refusal to let him attended any unscripted events, he will never collapse in public. If they WERE to let him answer questions, it would be fast and probably be a phalanx of swearing and stuttering followed by him stroming off the podium.

3. I hope it stays like this, because when he stops to act like |

an elephant on fire inside a China shop, then we know it's over.
Then there will nothing stopping him.
His conscience will have short-circuited and his 800 pound gorillas will be released to wreck total havoc.

5. Seriously, I waited for this through all four years of the first term. |
|
Now I think it will never happen. He is isolated, protected, and medicated. Not going to happen.

Just never in public. There have been many reports of odd behaviour of the Chimp-in-Chief, but they can always medicate him enough to stagger up to the podium and catapult the propaganda.
As long as he has a script (and he always does), and the press know how to avoid the tough questions (and they always do) then he's in his happy place.
