KLIF removes Crawford page (Darrell Ankarlo protesting Cindy)
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 10:05 AM by patrioticliberal
You do remember Darrell Ankarlo was supposed to have a counter protest (KLIF) in Cindy's face today, right?

Well, go to KLIF.com.Nothing on front page. Go to http://www.klif.com/crawford.htm . Page deleted.

Go to http://www.ankarlo.net/ . Still has link to more information, but the page is gone.

Are they there yet? They said 9:30 am Texas time.

They were planning on getting as close to Cindy as possible.

HERE IS WHAT WAS ON THE CRAWFORD.HTM PAGE BEFORE:
"Today, Saturday , August 13th
Ankarlo's Pro America Rally

The pro-America rallies that swept the nation at the beginning of the Iraqi war started right here in North Texas. So now, when our troops and our president need us the most we will gather to show our support again!

Today, Saturday, August 13th at 9:30AM, join me as I walk to Prairie Chapel Road in Crawford, peacefully demonstrating love of the USA. Cindy Sheehan's group, which has been in Crawford protesting against the president by calling him a "liar" and a "murderer," has had its say. I hope the mainstream media will give as much attention to those of us who think we should stay the course as those who want to create another Vietnam!

If you want to join me, some of my morning team and many friends, then make your own sign(s) showing your support and travel to Crawford. You will need to park your car in the Crawford High School parking lot and walk about a 1/2 mile to our demonstration site.

Sign suggestions: "We Support the President," "Thank You Mr. President," "Anti War protesters can create another Vietnam. Don't Let Them," "America Needs to be United--Not Divided. That's what the Terrorists Want," "Casey Sheehan died as an American Hero. Anti Bush people dishonor him," "Stay the Course," "Mr. President, we can't quit now," "The People of Iraq say Thanks for liberating us." etc... Avoid anti-Sheehan signs if you can.

Bring sunscreen and water as we will be outside until approximately 11:30am or so. (I don't believe there are bathroom facilities nearby so plan accordingly).

I am sorry for Ms. Sheehan's loss and I know it is still very painful. I want to honor her for the sacrifice but, we just cannot tolerate the hateful rhetoric coming from this lady and/or her group. I understand that "professional protesters" will be coming on Saturday so I'm sure they will be doing a lot of chanting and shouting. We, on the other hand, will show grace and dignity.

I hope you can join us this morning in Crawford. We'll wave at the president as he drives by!!

You will need to find directions that work best for you but this simple Mapquest link should give you a general idea where we will be.

3. Tell Mr. Ankarlo that doctors have been successfully treated incontinence,
often without surgery.

7. Oh, we don't know that is from the protest today.
One guy has a sign "THANKS". I doubt he is thanking Cindy if that is from today.

The soldier above is involved with a protest at Crawford against Cindy. Someone here said it was against Military Code to wear your uniform in a protest.....

10. What kind of expression is that on Ankarlo's face (upper left hand corner)
Looks like a cross between pure evil and constipation (maybe there's some connection between the two?).

13. An educated guess
This feels like a turning point in this war. Mr. Mizmoon, whose interest in politics is minimal at best, has even heard all about Cindy. I use him as a public awareness yardstick.

Over 60% of the people no longer support the war and Dubya is just hiding out in his ranch on a FIVE WEEK vacation.

This radio guy probably decided not to be one of those sad fellers who end up on the wrong side of history.
