Enlightening Freepers, One Freeper at a time
http://www.truthout.org/cindy.shtml

from Scott Galindez:

One of the counter demonstrators showed his humanity and while visibly shaking, asked a military family member for hug. They only stayed for a short time and then got back on their bus and went home to Irving.

1. Not all freeps are all bad
many are just misguided. When they see reality their humanity comes right back.

5. A true freeper is incapable of enlightenment.
The fundamental test--if "enlightenable," not a real freeper, just a congenital idiot in cheap clothing. (Or a sad lack of motivation and a weak, malleable personality)

6. From the same blog entry:
"While this was happening back at the camp a busload of counter demonstrators visited the camp and laid flags in front of the crosses. The camp sang America the Beautiful as the counter demonstrators chanted "we don't care." One of the counter demonstrators showed his humanity and while visibly shaking, asked a military family member for hug. They only stayed for a short time and then got back on their bus and went home to Irving."

What kind of hatred for their fellow Americans would inspire this kind of behavior? The right-wing has lost it's moral center.

8. Last night on this board a couple of people had threads on this
mindless mantra. Then someone came up with a good one, referring to Bush, He Don't Care.

9. It just broke my heart to see those families
The one woman whose husband is being deployed from Ft. Hood will be going with my Son. That is where he will be deployed from as well in November.... I feel for them so much....

13. Sending you an ethereal hug for you and your son. As a mom of
two teenage boys, whom I want to keep home here safely and soundly, I can empathize completely.

Everyone here is so genuine in their support of my Son. I do appreciate it so much and am glad I have somewhere to turn. This next year will be a hard one for all involved....
