Need some ideas for a poll question |
|
The question I am asking is
"What do you think about gas reaching $3 a gallon?"
I need around 4-5 answers and am having trouble with my creative mind.... too much natural light and the natty poos last night, lol.
any help would be appreciated.

5. We really are spoiled beyond belief! |

Bill Marher made a comment the other night on Larry King -- something about people whining over $3 a gallon gas while they sip on their $5 lattes. I LMAO.

6. Excellent point...although the one is almost a necessity... |
|
...and the other certainly isn't. :)

"Good! I am pleased to see that the price of this precious and often squandered resource is becoming more realistic!"?

7. apparently it's great for the industry |
|
The oil industry made 30-50% profits this quarter. Gotta remember this hike affects heating oil, diesel etc. not just gas prices. Also impacts the economy in so many other ways. I think we all know that gas is ONLY going up, never the other way, ever again.
What bothers me about the argument that "we should be paying more for gas" is that we should have been GETTING more for that. If the state and federal tax had been allowed to be raised earlier on gas, then the states could have used this profit for mass transit. Now this is a missed opportunity because it's too much of a burden. So only the industry profits. NO vision.
OK--so Heres my contribution to the poll:
Time To Fund Mass Transit
