it is her name.

The name Sheehan in Ireland is derived from the Gaelic O'Siodhachain Sept who were based in Limerick. This name, together with the variant Sheahan, rank among the eighty most frequently found names in the country. It is in Counties Limerick and Cork that the majority of descendants can still be found.

Also, it’s my late husband’s surname and mine too by marriage. He was born in Limerick, Ireland. He always told me it meant peace as evidenced by the coat of arms with the dove in the middle.

5. Don't know if there might be a copyright infringement with
this particular image. However, I'm sure there are other versions around.

I wonder what the news in Ireland has been like regarding Cindy Sheehan.

8. Just change the sprig of leaves in the doves beak
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 03:30 PM by DoYouEverWonder
to some yellow roses and it would be individualized for Cindy.

Edit: BTW Coats of Arms are for individuals, not families. Usually, your personal coat of arms is combination of your mother and father and their coats of arms. So it is okay to change and adapt a coat of arms as long as it's within certain rules.

9. I believe the sprig is an olive branch, also a symbol of peace.
The roses sound like a nice touch though.
