5. The rule of protests.
Get as much coverage as possible, then call and end to it or else your opposition (seeing media still there yet getting bored with the same thing day end and day out) will organize and steal the limelight -- ultimately getting more publicity in the longrun and when your protest ends it appears they made you quit.
