Here's A Question For You: Does God Support Bush's War In Iraq?
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 06:19 PM by DistressedAmerican
Just wondering. As I understand it, George Bush speaks for HIM. Right?

The right acts like it has some sort of monopoly of God. I assume that these right wing fundie asshats think that God supports our wholesale slaughter of Iraqis in a quest to enrich the oil barons that run their party.

You'd think with God's support for this war so clearly spelled out by these folks that it would be going a lot better over there.

Or has God "lifted the veil" and allowed all those people to die for our sins the way the fundie freaks suggested he had on 9/11?

When did God start this policy of allowing his followers to die en masse?

Has this been his MO for a long time? Or is this a new invention by those that run the country?

George Bush, if there is a God, you will most certainly be harshly punished for the atrocities that you have committed in His name!

2. one of ten commandments of Jesus is Thou Shalt Not Kill
These people believe in killing - they say they are pro life - but only when that is convenient - they truly believe in killing and do it on a mass scale

they do it with homeless
lack of jobs
feeding corporations
no health care

if they took all the money they spend on their salaries and WMD and did a health plan - it would be such a small percentage of what they are wasting in waging war and killing people

These people are not Christ christians - they are murderers

4. The answer depends on which human is speaking for God
Take your pick, and they all claim exclusive access. First they exchange words, and pretty soon they're out for blood. They get it in Iraq, Afghanistan, West Bank and Gaza, Chechnya. Sudan . . . They've been getting it for thousands of years. And here's the kicker: they all say they do this out of love for God and mankind. Go figure.

6. God is Great & God is Good.
How can killing tousands of people good? I just believe that God was a loving, caring , forgiving God and he would never support killing for revenge, and especially for oil. That's my opinion and I am sticking to it.
