It changes so often now, I can't keep up. It was $2.18 a few days ago. Yesterday when I was going to work, it was $2.22, and coming home it was $2.37 at the place I fill up.
It could be $12.00/gal for all I know. I think I'm going to the bicycle shop tomorrow afternoon.

10. $2.59 today with the cash discount |
|
It cost $28.50 to fill up our car. We paid that once in the Bay Area on a 3 day weekend, but around here we're used to paying something closer to $20-23 if the no fuel light is on.
I'm glad LeftyDad found a job closer to home, this would have absolutely killed our budget when he was driving 40 miles to work.

near my house in Memphis...keep in mind that incomes in the South are typically LOWER than the national average, so it's the same as $3.00 in California. What's it going to take to make people take to the streets?
