What is this, "They volunteered" crap? I mean did they |
|
volunteer to be LIED to? Since there hasn't been a draft for how long now? of course they volunteered! They, however, didn't volunteer to be slaughtered over a pack of lies perpetuated by their Commander in Chief! Kool-aid drinking freepers never GET IT! do they?

I've come up with several arguments/answers
1. If you volunteer to help a fellow move, and then find out he lied and he's stealing stuff, are you still required to help because you "volunteered"?
2. If you think volunteering means you agree with Bush, why aren't you in uniform?

never putting our armed forces in harms way unless absolutely necessary... I thought we had a duty to them, those who volunteered, that we would never put them in danger unless it was a last resort.
I want a freeper to answer that for me...WHY was it a last resort?

that they were never going to find WMD's in Iraq, or that Bush lied about Saddam being a threat to the US, or that he was connected to Osama bin Laden.
Casey was doing his duty, that's a lot more then can be said for Dimson when it was his turn to do his duty.

Think of all those kids who had no choice but to join to pay for college or to get a job. So many others joined because they actually wanted to help defend their country and not fight for no reason at all. Those freaking freepers will think of any excuse.

When they enlist, this country makes them a solemn promise, "We will not put you in harms way unless absolutely necessary. Bushboy broke that promise...they didn't volunteer for this...and, btw, * "volunteered" during Vietnam, too. So, why they hell didn't he go?

And they are starting to realize that we are not behind the CiC, that is military families... or retirees... that is a very uncomfortable feeling if you get my drift

20. They didn't volunteer to be abused by their own |
|
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 07:59 PM by Cleita
Commander-in-chief. They have been abused by not receiving adequate equipment, by not getting decent food, by having their tours extended without volunteering and by not receiving proper medical and veterans benefits when they return. They didn't volunteer to become homeless when they become no longer useful to the Bush either.
On edit: No one who supports Bush can in conscience say they are supporting the troops because he is using them in the worst and most abusive way.

In most areas of life, you're allowed to change your mind. But these poor "volunteers" are never allowed to change their decision, forever being called back to duty whenever the gov't sees fit, and it is apparently a court marshallable offense to decide otherwise.
What's up with that??

These idiot freepers are stepping into a pile of dog shit with this ridiculous excuse.
They are holding troops over, extending tours, re-upping more tours on fake 'legalize bs', even running a back door draft stop gaps.
And if you make it through all that and finally make it back alive, the Republican congress cuts your veterans benefits!
