Cindy has taken the Swift Boat hits as a civilian and mother. Once upon a time, the Dems had guts - Bobby Kennedy, Gene McCarthy, Paul Wellstone. They stood for something. I believe that if Kerry had not said he would still support Bush seeking (salivating) war knowing then what we know now, no Rove fraud could have kept him from the presidency. Why is Cindy Sheehan doing this, or a congressman, like John Conyers? Is there not ONE senator who will speak up without qualifiers?

I think Kucinich comes closest, even though he is in the House.

2. Kennedy and Kerry did come out with a statement of support - but
this is one time I personally want the politicians to stay away.

This is between the people and **.
This is about Cindy Sheehan. If Barbara Boxer got involved, then it would be about her... or whoever.

btw, Boxer and George Allen did come out and say * should meet with her.

3. There is no Senator who is worthy of meeting Cindy.
Not a single one.

There are some congressmen, perhaps. But every Senator currently sitting is not worthy, IMO.

5. Personally, I think that politicians should stay out of this
Cindy is most effective attracting average people to Crawford. Let the politicians do what they are supposed to do, like introduce laws and resolutions to get out of Iraq, like Woolsey and Kucinich.
