Third Party in 2008
I think we could see a third party candidate run that's is extremely far right. This could choke of Repuke votes if the person runs strong enough.

1. Or he could win.
I'm of the mind that about 33% of voters are to the far right, and if they all come out of the wood work thinking, "finally, a *good* candidate", America, such as it is, is through.

3. You guys are still assuming we have an honest America.
There will be no honest elections until we make it cheat proof.

4. Is this pure speculation or do you have someone
or some party in mind? The repukes might defuse any speculation by nominating a psycho like Frist or Santorum anyway. Personally, I just don't see it happening.

6. It's speculation on my part
But I have heard about Roy Moore running and Tom Tancredo possibly seeking the Constitution Party nomination.

5. No way, Jose
The two-party system is by design of the powerful. Both D&R candidates will be chosen by the wealthy, and like Chomsky says, the people can then ratify one. You cannot be more to the Reich than the position the PTB have moved the Republican Party. There may be a third party candidate that opposes corporate rule, but he will be shot at from both parties and the controlled media.

All America needs is a little tweaking. Things are fine. You don't hear any outrage coming from Congress do you. Fix social security, pass some more draconian drug laws, bash the gays and declare the perfect society.

I say this in the most respectful way, but your assertion could not be more absurd.

8. We'll see a GOP candidate that's extremely far right.
Since the Republican Party is run by extremists, they kind of crowd out rightwing third parties.
