CHRISTOPHER WALKEN RUNNING FOR PRES?!?!?!
"Our great country is in a terrible downward spiral. We're outsourcing jobs, bankrupting social security, and losing lives at war. We need to focus on what's important-- paying attention to our children, our citizens, our future. We need to think about improving our failing educational system, making better use of our resources, and helping to promote a stable, safe, and tolerant global society. It's time to be smart about our politics. It's time to get America back on track."

Is this a joke...or for real? If it's real....well it makes me kind of giddy.

6. Gotta be a joke, did you read the "Press Release?"
Said the Queens native, “I have always been a follower of politics. My father was friends with the mayor of Schodack (NY) back in the 1940’s. We would walk the streets of Schodack and the people, they would wave to him. The children adored him. That is what I love to be, a man of respect and love.”

That sounds like a spoof.

12. If it's a hoax, then it has WorldNet Daily fooled (surprise)
As I've said before WND isn't the most credible source.

Aside from an outrageously right-wing whacked-out fundie bias, they're also not always grounded in the fact-based community.

But it'd be cool if he did run.

What America needs, what America wants, what America must have right now is MORE COWBELL.

14. I went to all the links and if
it is a fake, they have gone to a lot of trouble. It does not say whether he is anything other than someone wanting change in this country. He picks no sides, wants stem cell research.

15. All of the links work just fine.
Not sure what the problem was for the previous posters. And the "evidence" of a hoax is circumstantial at best. None of this seems terribly out of the ordinary for an actor who's never run for public office before. Especially if that actor is Chris Walken.

It may very well be a joke, but I'd have to say the verdict is still out until someone contacts Mr. Walken directly.

16. Okay, I made a Christopher Walken for President Poll
WorldNetDaily was fooled by a "Christopher Walken for President" Hoax.

If Christopher Walken were actually running for President, (under the platform given on the fake website) would you actually vote for him, and if so, who should be his running mate?

Poll:
