Howard Dean on Face the Nation (video)
via Atrios: The question is, what is a reasonable way to get out? And that's - we have no answers from the President on that at all. He keeps - his Administration appears divided. Some of the generals have said we can withdraw some of the troops, perhaps as many as 30,000 after the elections. We have others saying, we're not going to leave. These people do not know what they are doing. They didn't know what they were doing when we got in, they had no plan then, they have no plan now. .

1. Yeah, and they accuse the Democrats of having no plan.
Edited on Sun Aug-14-05 02:22 PM by Straight Shooter
The fact is, the Repubs want the Dems to come up with a plan so they can claim it as their own. The problem is, the Repubs hide so much information, it's impossible for the Dems to come up with a workable plan.

Howard Dean makes a lot of sense, but is Little Boots listening? Nooooo.

edit to add: I love Howard Dean!

3. "Well, what is Dean's plan, then? What's the Democrats' plan, huh?"
Edited on Sun Aug-14-05 02:31 PM by Zenlitened
Expect that line from a repuke. Then exercise your right to punch him right in the face, if you'd like. :7

Then point out that Dean is not Commander-in-Chief. Democrats do not have authority over the U.S. Commander-in-Chief. Democrats do not control any branch of government.

This is a REPUBLICAN failure in every sense and on every level, and it's up to you stupid fucking miserable gutless idiot republicans to take responsibility for ONCE in your worthless lives and clean this mess up.

And if you can't or won't do that, then SHUT UP and get the fuck out of the way while people with brains and foresight and ability -- i.e., liberals -- step in and try to fix what you've broken.

And save the "Democrats voted for the war, too" shit while you're at it. American lawmakers have ALWAYS supported the President when he needed to carry a big stick. That's how American foreign policy has always worked -- until you scumbags fucked that up, too, with your cooked intelligence and outright lies.

Everything you republican fuck-ups have touched has turned to ruin. Everything, from the economy to our nation's very security. So if you can't be part of the solution now, just SHUT UP. In fact, do us all a favor and kill yourselves right now, all of you. America will be a better place without you.
