50 - 65% of young Iraqis are unemployed?
I read that somewhere this morning but I cannot remember the link? But if this many young people are unemployed, what in the world do they do with their spare time?? They must be getting together in study groups, in order to better their skills and get a job in the budding new democracy of Iraq, don't you think? Or maybe they are just spending more time at the mosque?

1. That in itself is a formula for violence in the streets....
....U.S. occupation has no plans to change those numbers any time soon.

4. They are trying to meet or exceed Saudi Arabia's unemployment numbers
and it should be entirely possible with Chalabi in charge of the oil ministry.... but then that is the way it ouht to be.

6. Lots of time for some serious soul searching, eh?
One could really refine one's relationship with the teachings of Mohammed over a few years of unemployment (not to mention bombings, death of family members, rampant disease and inadequate water & sewage facilities...)
