2. Charlie Cook summed up the dilemma..which is so obvious
that it barely needs stating:

he can't talk to her, cause it opens the gates to an ungodly number of others

vs.

he looks more and more like the tool he is for refusing to give her a few minutes of his precious brush clearing time

I'm sorry for Cindy, but the best thing that can happen is for him to keep stonewalling.
