Please Help me ..
I heard ( from several friends) that gas prices are higher in Europe ( Swiss) because due to their oil being bought up by the US due to our refineries not being able to to meet demand and that they are not being maintained

I was wondering is someone can point me in the direction to see if this is true or not.

2. It is true gas is much more expensive in Europe...
But that's due to a huge variety of reasons -- much higher taxes on gas, the price being kept artificially low here in the States, and so on.

5. Because some people use information falsely to protect their belief
system, especially when their belief system is taking a beating while they circle the wagons around the dictatortot.

7. Oil is not the whole problem.
Prices in Europe on the whole are higher due to taxes. As to the U.S.
Our refineries not being able to keep up with demand would not effect having to get more oil. If anything it would drop prices on oil. If you can't refine it you don't buy it.

9. Gas prices are higher in Europe because their taxes on
gasoline are higher.

Period. End of paranoid theories.
