Britain no longer part of "coalition of the willing"
No one wants to play ball with the bush admin anymore.

Britain keeps distance from talk of strike on Iran

THE foreign secretary Jack Straw sought to distance Britain yesterday from comments by President George W Bush that he would not rule out a military strike against Iran.

It came as diplomats gave warning that British attempts to solve the crisis prompted by Tehran’s resumption of its nuclear programme last week were doomed to failure.

Bush raised the temperature by giving an interview to Israeli television from his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Asked if he would consider force, he replied: “All options are on the table.” He added: “The use of force is the last option for any president and you know we’ve used force in the recent past to secure our country.”

The Foreign Office reacted swiftly. “Our position is clear and has been made very, very clear by the foreign secretary,” a spokesman said. “We do not think there are any circumstances where military action would be justified against Iran. It does not form part of British foreign policy.”

2. Not at all.
From TimesOnline, March 15, 2005:

In a move that is causing concern to the already over-stretched main contributors, particularly the US, Britain and Australia, key allies, such as the Netherlands, Ukraine and Poland, are ordering their forces to return home.

7. I kid, I kid.....
Poland bugged out of Iraq quite a while ago, but it's the thing to say whenever a supposed "partner" fails to go along.

8. Poland is exactly what Bush...had better remember!
Back about 1939 a guy much like Mr. Know It All W Bush raided Poland and the world came to Poland's Aid. It was the beginning of the end, for Prescott Bush's business partner and ole buddy, Adolf Hitler.

The world appeased Bush, when he invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, but I think the world will gang up and kick our asses like they ain't never been kicked before, if Bush pounces on any other countries! I'm talkin' blood in the streets HERE in the US, before it's over.

IMHO, Bush is:

One. Putting on another of his famous political shows and bluffing
Two. Planning to nuke Iran, (which would likely trigger WWIII)
Three. going to fire up the draft and wait until he can raise an Army that can contend with a war in three theaters(fronts)(which was the undoing of Hitler)
Four. Insane and incapable of being President

Bull frigging sh*t. We've used force to secure illegal rights to other peoples right of ways and oilfields. The truth would be refreshing at this point in time.

9. Yeah, well...
..."We've used force to slaughter innocents and make our country - and all others - much, much less secure" doesn't quite have the same peppy ring...
